Didn’t understand the pickup process- walked to kiosk in rental area only to find out I needed to walk back to the airport. Not good directions on how to get to the kiosk.

Have been trying for over 24 hours to update the rental for another day and they are completely unresponsive. The company website and contact is no help whatsoever

I reserved a full-sized car, but on pickup all they had left was a Van... If there wasn' going to be a full-sized car available on pick-up I should have been informed. I had no choice but to take the van. Upset and disappointed. This was my first rental from Thrifty. For a Van, it was very nice and comfortable...for a Van. Upon drop-off, the guy was very brisk, dismissive, and unfriendly. I'm not one who needs their butt kised, and he seemed to be busy, but that's no excuse. It made my experience even less enjoyable. The price was exorbitant in my opinion. They say it's because of Covid, and I guess that's business to take atvantage of a situation, but I will be much less lilely to rent a vehicle in the future with prices that high.

I highly recommend to not use this company. They tried to charge me $80 more because I was an hour early for my pick up. Then they gave me a filthy car with an oil change needed light on. And then you need a QR code to get out of the garage when your cell phone has no service under the garage and you can’t get the QR code earlier because it only last for 10 minutes. I took a good 15 minutes to leave before someone came and helped us Upon returning the car we filled it up and left it in the garage with the keys. There was no one there to help us and then received a bill for $164 for fuel on a car that has a 20 gallon tank and we had already put the fuel in. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

After waiting for two hours, I was told that there were no cars available at this location and the persons working there were no help. I had to switch my reservation to the Charleston Airport myself. The budget employee stated that they were unable to do so themselves.

Everything was great…. Exterior of car was dirty, but car inside was clean. Brand new- 8 miles on odometer… we used car for a southern states road trip, ending in Dallas. Great trip.

Picking up a car at the airport to go one way was a disaster. It took me two hours to get my rental car. They had one person in the garage getting the cars for people. It was disorganized lack of staff. I will never use Avis rental car services again. When it was time to drop off my car back at the airport, that was a hot mess as well. No one there to tell me what to do. I sat in the car for 10 minutes before I decided just to park it and leave the keys in it. I absolutely terrible management.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it was Sunday evening and there was only one person on the rental desk. I was a late rental as was another couple. The agent was very apologetic and worked as fast as possible to get each of us out the door with a satisfactory vehicle.

DO NOT WAIT FOR THE SHUTTLE. They will tell you that it’s coming but it’s not. After over an hour of waiting (and the person on the phone saying they were on their way over and over) we got a taxi only to arrive and see the bus sitting there with no one to drive it. Hadn’t left for hours. The man working in the office when we arrived was rude and couldn’t care less. The woman who works there is great though - only upside to this place.

No attendant present when dropping off my car 05:45am. Lot was full and other cars that had been returned were blocking entrance. Had to park outside of lot. Took my key inside where there was no attendant, no drop box, so left it on counter hoping it was safe. Then ran to my flight. Never had that type unnerving experience in all my many years of car rentals.
