The price we agreed to pay on the reservation was not what we were charged at the counter. The counter agent made us pay for additional insurance, despite the fact that we had proof of insurance for the vehicle being provided from another source. The agent was unbudging and refused to rent us the car if we did not pay the additional fee, which was almost 1/2 of the original cost for the rental! This made the check out process horrible, and it took over 3 hours to get the car after we asked for it!

The price set online almost doubled when I got to the counter. They did not upgrade me for free . They just told me if I wanted a car I had to pay $900 US dollars and not the original online price. This was a classic “ bate and switch “ let us screw the tourist technique . Get the unsuspecting custimer to the counter with a confirmed online res ersatz on and then up charge them by 3 times and just tell the custimer this “ if you do not take this vehicle you did not order we have no vehicle for you “ . This is robbery with out a gun.
