This company claimed to be at the Atlanta Airport, but they're not, you have to catch a shuttle to get to their location. Then you when you to call them to figure out how to get to their shuttle, they don't answer. I was traveling with my 2 young children and finally gave up and decided to rent a car at the Atlanta airport.. On top of all this, we had a return flight at 7 AM, had to be at the airport at 5 AM, and this location is not even open to receive the car to return at that time.

The car was excellent. My experience with Kayak was wonderful as usual. I reserved a car which would make me assume a car was available. I had to wait an hour to finalize my car and the average wait to actually get one was 2+ hours. This significantly delayed travel plans I would expect if a reservation is available, it means a car will be. This needs to be addressed by Thrifty/Dollar.

pickup line was about 2 hours long. Several people not in line mentioned they stood in line for 1.5-2 hours and then had been waiting 2 hours for a car they still didn't have yet. We didn't have time to deal with that so ended up taking an uber instead even though our rental was a prepaid non refundable

Drop off was easy

The lady at counter kept harassing me to upgrade. I was in an a hurry for a birthday party so I said from beginning just let me have what I already paid for. She still charged me an extra $13 for Sirus radio and the receipt stated that customer requested it which I didn’t.

The car and drop off experience were both good, no complaints. Pick up was not::: 1) I was redirected from the payless counter, (a payless contract), to the avis counter 2) The first avis clerk redirected to a different avis clerk who knew how to handle a payless transaction 3) steps 1 and 2 caused a significant delay 4) price of the printed contract was higher than the amount of the online order 5) the clerk changed the contract to the online order amount 6) my credit card was billed for the higher amount, (more than the order or contract).
